Albrecht von Sydow, CEO

Albrecht has a background in forestry and investment banking. From 2004 through 2006 he worked with the corporate finance department of BNP Paribas in Frankfurt.
Albrecht believes that long-term economic success requires more than diligent cash flow and growth management. A successful business also feeds of its symbiotic relationship with its social and ecological environment.
Away from wood pellets Albrecht enjoys movies, books and horseback riding.
Christian Kruber, COO

Christian has been in the paper industry for fifteen years, holding executive management positions. From 2001 through 2007 he managed the paper operations for Mercer International Inc. in Germany and Switzerland as CEO of three plants.
Christian is convinced that success requires the ability to spend little time with past achievements, but rather to focus on future challenges.
In his private life, Christian is an outdoorsman who enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Dennis McLister, CFO

Dennis is a certified public accountant who has both national accounting firm and exeutive private sector experience. Prior to WOODSTONE, he worked in the national transaction support services practice of RSM McGladrey, Inc. There, he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries.
Dennis believes that business conducted with ethics and honesty leads to long-term financial rewards for all parties.
When not working, Dennis enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, reading and an occasional round of golf.
David Thexton, Technical Director

David has a twenty-two year background in the engineering and construction of manufacturing processes. His experience includes engineering, construction management and project management with a recent concentration on wood-pelleting projects. Most recently David held the position of VP, Bioenergy at Industrial TurnAround Corporation, a leading engineering and construction-management company focused on the development of wood pellet projects throughout North America. David believes that teamwork, foresight and innovation are the keys to success of the modern project.
Favorite pastimes include woodworking, tennis and spending time with his family.
Justin M. Moran, Sales & Marketing Director

Justin is a sales and marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in financial services and information technology consulting. Most recently he sold consulting services for Doculabs, a firm which helps large companies reduce their carbon footprint by leveraging technology to automate paper intensive processes.
Justin’s key interests lie in developing and delivering quality products and services at competitive prices to WOODSTONE’s clients.
Away from work Justin enjoys spending time with his young family, skiing and boating along Boston’s south shore.
